National museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Description: National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan was opened July 2, 2014. The museum was created as a result of the state program Cultural heritage. It is the largest museum in the country. Shared land are of 9.9 hectares, a building space of 74,000 sq m. Exposure 14,095 square meters, the Fund is 8000 sq. m.

The museum is located on the main square of the country – on the Independence square, harmoniously fitting into a single architectural ensemble of Independence Palace, the Palace of Peace and Accord, cathedral mosque “Hazret Sultan” and the National University of Arts. The building of the museum draws exterior view of the unusual form. The largest unique museum the complex has an area of 74, 000 sq. m. and it consists of seven units with variable stroreys up to the ninth floor. Exhibit Space occupied 11 halls with a total area of more than 14 000 sq. m.
